Pleasant dreams are fun, and Nightmares are a sample of Hell we are allowed to experience for brief periods at night. At least that's what I believe. I know the feeling of not being able to escape. There is pain, and it can't be ignored. It moves in front of your priorities and flashes and blinks and sirens- you can't not see it.

Wow...this is a beautiful poem..the images are amazing and just the way you described the feelings and worded everything was wonderful..I think my favorite line would have to be "Miles away, the forbidden glory" keep writing!
