You give your reader such lovely, enticing imagery. And I'm sorry, but you simply cannot be 18. Perhaps you are just passing through from a previous life to another, and you brought this gift of telling with you. I love the wind "blowing through his soul." Yes, and I love the wonderful characterization of the horse. The song Kori sings--"Whisper" by Evanescence--is that foreshadowing for what's to come, or memory of what has happened? Then, I'm assuming that more is to come? You would not stop here...no, you seem far too compassionate for that. I look forward to reading more of your work as soon as I get the chance!
