I hope your last sentence wasn't any foreshadowing, but it WOULD be realistic for Jude to die. I like the name Damien, and if he looks just like his father, he might just grow up to be a little heartbreaker, not that Jude was ever that.

Aw! I had a feeling it was a boy! Now Jude must come home safely to help raise his son.

Aw! A baby boy! For some reason, every time I emagine having a baby when I get married, in my mind I always imagine a boy. Raising a daughter sounds far more appealing to me, but for some reason a baby boy sounds better than a baby girl. Maybe it's the double "b", lol!

Well, I think you wrote that labor perfectly! And at first I thought that it already was the year 1941, so when Christmas just passed, I was like, "hey! What about America entering the war?" I guess I forgot that a year sepperated 12-7-41 from the German air raids. Well, ok, there were bombings in Lundon throughout almost the whole war, but the ones you were talking about.

This was a sweet chapter. I think Mary knew what was really going on and that Josie didn't have the measels. So Jude and Josie have a baby boy. I can imagine him being just like Jude, a handful. :)

So now Jude knows about Josie's news. I thought his concerns were all very realistic. There IS the chance that he's not coming home and his child might have to grow up without him. I hope that doesn't happen. I feel sorry for the one soldier who doesn't get any mail, hopefully he'll get some soon. :)

Ha! I finished Harry Potter! I finally convinced Risa that thingts would go a lot smoother if she just let me read it in a day and then she could have it for as long as she wants. So I started around 5 or 6 yesterday and I just finished this morning! Very good, but much better than the 5th one in my opinion.

Wow she's pregnant. I think it's good that she's staying in London. Somehow I don't see Ralph being able to help a pregnant woman as well as Miss Bernadette, although I guess there are other women in Polperro that would have been able to help her. Jude will probably be shocked. maybe one chapter can be a bit from his POV about getting the news.
