I absolutely love the idea for the story, especially the protagonist's exotic backround. Most romantic stories nowadays are centered on gorgeous English people, and this seems to be a nice change. I would definately like to read the Duke's reaction to an exotic beauty. I do hope you decide to continue this story. It has great potential.
