I've never known someone who has commited suicide, but a guy in my french class in 10th grade got spinal meningitis over spring break and died. I'm glad I knew him, and I know he was loved 's not the same though, because he didn't kill himself. It changes you. Maybe gives you something to live for.

This poem was wonderful. Sorry about your friend and i reckon he would've been so happy that you thought of him this much. You're a great poet.

Nicely written. I could almost feel that detached emotion that I so often associate with funerals and other occasions of sadness.

that's so sad, but beautifully written. strange how tragedy and beauty walk hand in hand sometimes.
