Like I said before, it's got beautiful imagery, but i have to agree with the person either above or below me - "sometimes the bud opens, sometimes the canoe doesn't sink."

Why do you suddenly seem, Sheep-Dog, to always vear towards the darker side of poetry?

*grins* I like the imagery. I'd like a few more adjectives, but I tend to kill things with too many adjectives.

I'm not quite sure why, but I really like this peice.
