Great fic! It was inspiring, makes you feel really good about being alive. In a way, though, I feel like things were left hanging, like Krystal's pregnancy and the break-up with Ryan was sort of abrupt. But I guess the whole point of your story was expressed. And maybe you left all those things hanging because Trish has to step bravely into life, the unknown void. She doesn't know what's coming next, and leaving things unresolved just reinforces your point. But maybe I'm stretching it. Anyways, I loved it. Heart warming.

I reviewed this a long time ago, but when only the first chapter was up. I'm so glad I found it again. I thought it had a beautiful ending and it didn't end in sex, but something more than that. Congrats for the great story!

The story is great, but I think you need to edit it a little more. And Trista is maddening. Towards the end. I understand why she is sort of holding herself away from him, but really, leaving in the middle of her friend's song? The guy couldn't wait for it to end like a polite person normally would? Was it really that urgent?! It just makes me angry. And she's being such a drama queen. "Why is sex so important? Why do the trees change color? Why can't he like me?" She dwells way too much. But I guess I still like her overall. I like how you characterized her parents. Wonderful detail with the Dr. Phil book. I also like Drew's car and how it intertwines with the story. I enjoy it, I just got a bit fed up with her after a while. Update soon!
