ch 1,
My sincerist apologies, as you are correct, that Ophelia is from Hamlet.

ch 1,
I don't have an intimate knowledge of the painting, though I am aware of the legend and it sounds very grim and beautiful in your poem. ('As serenity surrounds my soul in this dark delirium', that line I like very much.) Would the repetition of 'faster' once or twice on separate lines help?? Or am I just in love with that word right now? Effective positioning of 'released'.

Its great and all, but Ophelia is from Hamlet, not Macbeth.
