Wow, that was a pretty dark and scary piece! I wasn't expecting the ending at all...and the description of a bad trip was alarmingly authentic.

I'd be really interested to see you expand more on your characters. Who is Anna? What did she do (or not do) to make her parents describe her as "hopeless"? Is her sister as perfect as Anna perceives her to be? What is the nature of her relationship with Mike?

You have a talent for vivid imagery - it would be great to see you expand this with some deeper characterisation and more sustained plot-lines.
