INTP 2005-03-11 . chapter 1This is a very clever--albeit somewhat clumsy--reworking of Poe's masterful use of rhyme from the poem, The Raven. It's very satisfying to see someone spear those ridiculous people who stretch their dull, vapid minds to create meaning in their lives (or, in this example, art) when there is simply none at all. The reliance on visual stereotype is particularly illustrative of that subculture. I admit I feel the same utter bafflement at these mental charlatans. |
