While reading this I got an eerie feeling about being in a dark silent room illuminated only by my computer screen...

Should I be afraid of the dark

or the shadows I see,

and allow my mind

to play tricks on me?

No really, while reading the poem I was well aware of my surroundings, which is rare when I'm on my computer.

I like how you were able to elicit such an emotive response from me. I probably missed the whole point of the poem, but I'm sure each time I re-read it I will get something different out of it.
