It almost made me cry because I have the same relationship with my grandfather and he was having health problems last summer (thank God he's okay now - I hope your grandfather's okay, too). I love the use of hyphens in this, and all the punctuation. I especially like the metaphor of the winter and "the ice broken off the front step." Great work! |
