There are alot of dark people who are very happy. Isaac Brock for example, he writes for Modest Mouse, a depressed, drugged up, band of alchoholics and aetheist on anti-depressants and meth, but you meet him in person and he's just so nice and funny and charming. Also a nice drunk. Good example to follow by.
