abuseWell I told you I would review it so here I am. Hm what can I say... How aboutI loved it. The maths equation bit got me and reduced me to helpless giggle, probably because I've been there before. Great job, it definately deserved the prize!

abuseYou have like a huge vocabulary. I had to look up like a bunch of those words. Cheese.

Okay about your "its" problem.. when it's for possession of an object, it's "its". When it's used for "it is", then it's "it's." Hahaha that was the crappiest explanation I've ever done. Anyway you can see how that works below:/you wrote: "pulled gently on the door to its’ prison and"i changed: "pulled gently on the door to its prison and"/you wrote: "whiskers and a hungry glint in its’ eye, sped past me instantly"i changed: "whiskers and a hungry glint in its eye, sped past me instantly"/By the way.. that was the most awesome way of writing that day of your life thing. That was so COOL. I totally understood it, and it was like an adventure. Holy crap. Did you win the competition? If you didn't, I'd be so shocked. That was like.. AWESOME. Okay, I'll leave you alone now. Byebye!

abuseok as far as i kno with the apostrophe... i tend to relate it to something else. instead of using ti i would use a name and then if the sentence reads as if that person owns it you need an '. i also think that its is usually used for it is e.git's colourits rednot totally sure though ..

abuseIn that case, for Senorita, I forgive you.I don't have much time to read anything anyway, so it doesn't really matter. I still remember that Sam just lost her baby and Jess now knows that it was Barry Cunningham who was the "culprit"...Plus she told Will she loved him when he was "dying" and he heard her...

Ok so I guess I'm OK for a bit XD

as for the 'its', well when it represents 'it is', then it takes an apostrophe. Otherwise, it doesn't. So I hope this is helpful.Good luck with all your schoolword :)

abuseLoL, I loved this! It's great how you made the mundane everyday things seem so extravagant. Sorry about year 12 business, I'm in a rut myself. BTW: The spelling "it's" is short for "it is". If you want the 'it' in question to possess something, just spell it "its". That's how we do it in the US, at least.

abuseHumph! I guess I can wait on Senorita...

Hmm try to remember this:

Its is the possessive form of the pronoun it and is correctly written without an apostrophe. It should not be confused with the contraction it's (for it is or it has), which should always have an apostrophe.

"in its’ eye" it should be "its" since it's possesive (that < over there was "it's" becuase it was a contraction of it + is)

does that help at all?
