| THROUGHTHESEEYES 2005-04-19 ch 1, | abuseI like this better then the modern Romeo and Juliet put out a year or so ago. Mixing the old with the new is refreshing. The angst, cunning and social interaction was great. |
| Manuel Fajar 2005-03-23 ch 1, | abusei think yellow sun needs her own balcony so pale moon won't hog the vistas. Great poem. m ;-) |
| Eyes Unclouded 2005-03-18 ch 1, | abuseSomehow, you inject this new life - I want to say you make it more contemporary, but that's like...not what I mean. I suppose Romeo and Juliet sound realer and less distant in this poem. They seem less like two dusty characters from English class and more like real people. You are such a good writer! Okay, my favorite lines (this if for you to know and for me to have a reference in my review history): "but the only words we’ve ever exchanged/are pleasantries and apologies" and "everyone knows the moon is more desirable/than the all too predictable sun". I know that second quote is paraphrasing the play, but it still sounds good. |
