The ending is great as is the imagery, i don't know why her eyes are damaged though, but it's nice that you seem to care for her a lot to be there for her through bad times, have to add you to my faves, will be back to review more when i have more time, keep writing! x weasel within x

I loved this. the thought of the eyes, the glare of them- oh, God, it's wonderful.

ah, how hard it can be to demonstrate willpower at times ... you do a really good job at conveying the struggle of keeping away in this piece. i especially like "and the flow of water only helps to quench my thirst" - it's nice. keep it up :)
