Whew, I've got a lot of catching up to do, especially with some other writers. But that doesn't matter to me, because I enjoy reading your work ^_^ The italics were a great touch, and the emotion here is also nice. The ending was disturbing yet effective, and it sent a profound chill down my spine. The "killing me forever in silence" line was especially great, and I practically shivered on that one. Very nice.

The ending was perfect. ^-^ I find sometimes the most haunting thing about someone is their eyes or smile, espicially if you watch them die ... (My mom is a nurse ... she has seen that sometimes ... mostly with an old cupoles.) *adds to favorite lists* Beautiful job, Sumi-chan!! Great job!! ^-^

well to me its either a person you loved their smile & they left/died.. or some one who has one of those smug smiles every time you fail
