Itsuyaya 2008-03-29 . chapter 1I sort of liked this story, but even if I, like most people, am filled with pain and dismay, I still don't like to read about it very often. If you can,try exerise your creative energy toward the type of story that the main character ends up relatively happy. If you like reading stories like the ones you usually write, then you should try the stuff by Garth Nix, especially the Abhorsen Trilogy. I'm still reading Across the Wall, which isa collection of stories that he wrote about the world of the Abhorsen after he had concluded that trilogy. Just a warning though, the first book has 500 pages, the second has almost 800 pages, and the third has 500. My friends mock me when I tell them "It only has 500 pages." Lol. Oh, yeah. Across the Wall has 300 pages. Just out of curiousity, did that happen to you, or is that just the way you see the other girls at your school? |
Isaac Hoffman 2006-07-14 . chapter 1Usually when I see something in the catagory of angst, I sigh and move on. Sorry, most of that stuff doesn't hold much interest for me, but this piece, this was different. It was the usual teenage confessional, but without the usual sogginess that usually comes with teenage confessionals. In other words, you took a worn out shirit and turned it inside out. You didn't iron it, but you turned it inside out. |
Jacob and His Dream Machine 2006-05-14 . chapter 1Oh wow, this was very good, and best of all more honest then anyone tries to be anymore.
The build up and depressing plot turn really illustrates the hoplessness of hating yourself |

DementedOracle 2005-04-05 . chapter 1This is very good. So packed with meaning and feeling. You wrote it in such a subtle way; it blows my mind that I got that much out of less than 200 words. |
solidrock 2005-04-04 . chapter 1Well done. You have captured the mirror perfectly. If we are not satified with who we are, then our mirror is our worst enemy. |

 L. Cybert 2005-03-25 . chapter 1Wonderful imagery. Even for so short a story, it carries powerful emotions. It's very dark and yet very beautiful as well. I can relate well enough. |
K's Moonshadow 2005-03-25 . chapter 1This is absolutly fantastic. It's simplistic, and yet gut-wrenching. I have done this exact thing. Why do our heads and our hearts not connect anymore? Well done, keep going.Much Love,*K's Moonshadow* |
Jessicka-scab 2005-03-25 . chapter 1Wow, this is excellent! Its so perfectly sombre and self-contained. The ending caught me totally by sirprise, though I probably should hav read the title first lol. |
