Hey, this story kinda reminds me of this one chinese movie i saw about this one girl who had to have a heart trasnplant but the heart was from this girl who died from a mass murderer and the girl who got the heart fell in love with the donater's old boyfriend and she'd see flashes of the donater's old life including when she was killed so the killer was after her. long story short, the girl fell in love with the donater's old bofriend who's a police officer, then the killer who's a satan believer killed himself and her because he liked her. very disturbing movie which turned out to be a waste of my time but yeah. anyways, hope you update soon.

now I remember...you told me about this story before, about a person having someone else's heart and therefore feeling all their emotions and stuffi guess, in this chapter though, you put a lot of Melanie's thoughts. what i don't understand is why you put her thoughts when Jake catches her in his arms in italics when the rest of her other thoughts are not. but I like Melanie's thoughts, they're very interesting to read a small grammar thing: "It was a substitute position at the local elementary school--an fun job.." I think you should prolly write A fun job not an fun jobAnd that sentence of "She wasn't familiar with the subway station (having always ridden the bus)..." it's sorta awkward.and did you ever say Melanie actually had a heart transplant? And that that's why there is some connection b/w her and Adam? I dun remember...

random thought... i assume, given the setup here, and the description and all, that she will end up with adam? y'know...'tis what we all expect. and you want us to expect it. so. my random thought. why is it that when a girl dumps a guy for a different guy, she always dumps a great one? without fail! whenever she has to struggle against falling in love with a dashing stranger, she's always already attached to a really decent guy! why is that...?

bwaha...fun! i would leave one of my lovely in-depth reviews, 'cept i really must be off to bed...gotta work in the morning, and i've been up till 3-4 am the last few days...stupid blood sugar checking...oh, well. i might give you a more comprehensive review later, or i might just wait for another chapter. dunno yet. i'll figure it out.

incidentally...reading your profile, and your story status...how long after finishing the chapter does it take you to finish the reviewer notes? if i am within even a page or so of finishing the chapter, then said chapter will be finished, edited, and posted before i go to bed, complete with notes. 'course, i keep a weird schedule...in fact, i'm just weird all around. but i'm curious as to how you do it?
