Also, I like that you made them Dark casters instead of Light… that would have been boring :- )And then to have Seraph’s element be a mistake… Interesting. Well, post more. very nice, your references are a bit distracting. Most of your characters have japanese sounding names except for Seraph and Lilith. Both of these names come from the Hebrew. and Seth which comes from Set which comes from Zet in the old Coptic. Don't think you are fooling anyone with these names. If you are going to imply character traits through your character's names, I suggest that you do it a little more subtly. As it is, it jumps out as a "can't this author think up her own names".

On the contrary to what you say, I find this more anime-inspired than actually Harry Potter inspired. The story over all is quite good, but you should work a bit on the description of the surroundings (as if I had any right to say that...). Other than that, the story is quite appealing Good work!

Don't worry your story sounds nothing like Harry Potter. You should see mine -_-; My friend keeps telling me that mine sounds like Harry Potter... Anyway... I'm looking forward to an update...

Hey, you have a good start here. I like the characters, although I’m wondering what their Dad does that is so important. The thing that was difficult about this is that it is hard to really get into the world. I can see Seraph and Mai, but not where they are. Maybe this could be helped by going into a little more depth just about the city or whatever they are in. Also, it is a little distracting to use words like “chipper” and “butch” and “cripes”. That kind of takes you out of their world for a second when reading because they are such normal , I don’t have any really great suggestions other than that. Thanks and post again soon!-magdalen13
