You don't really have much of a choice when THAT happens. Beleive me, I know. It can't be a choice, just judging by my own experiences. Even so, I do think that animals have the ability to make choices, we're animals too, though some people forget that all too often. And the world wouldn't miss us if we went extinct, so why bother. The person No Trust is confusing. I can't tell weither he/she is against or for homosexuality, but ok then. I'm ending this now.

This is not a philosophically or scientifically sound assumption. “One of the largest arguments against homosexuality is the discussion of whether or not it is a choice. Some believe that you are born gay while others proclaim that you choose who you are attracted to.” Ironically it is also the most irrelevant argument surrounding the issue. Whether or not serial killers “choose” to be serial killers does not affect whether I sympathize with them or with their detractors. Whether or not homosexuals “choose” to be homosexuals or not is similarly of no importance. “They blame organizations like the National Education Association who has taken up the “pro-homosexual agenda” by encouraging schools to introduce pro-homosexual materials and concepts to students, and worry that if the world turns gay the human race will become extinct.” Exactly the kind of nonsense that is inevitably generated by that phony science, sociology. “The history of psychology in relation to homosexuality originated with the beginning of psychology itself. The diagnosis of homosexuality as a psychological disorder or even perversion, ironically contributed to its final classification as an independent sexual orientation.” Oh yeah, and psychology is another ridiculously normative pseudo-science. “Same-sex attraction does have a biological basis, which means that you cannot choose your sexuality.” By that logic, there is no such thing as choice, since everything everyone does has a biological basis. “An individual’s sexual orientation does not decay society as a whole; a minority of the populace is born gay and they should be respected for their nature.” There is no such thing as ‘society as a whole’.
