| JenniRose 2005-04-06 ch 1, | abuseWell, that was..interesting? Not really sure what to make of that, obviously I read the whole thing and didn't leave. I guess I'm inspired to write now, and I've been saying that for the past four days so who knows if I'm lying again or not. |
| ta1nt3d1uv 2005-04-06 ch 1, | abuseHaha...This is awesome! Funny, and totally truthful! And I live in the U.S. and spell colour with a 'U', just like favourite and a bunch of other words (but in my stories sometimes word changes it for me. grr to word). Once again, awesome work! |
| MrFlames 2005-04-06 ch 1, anon. | abuseYou had me through the first point in your introduction, and lost me after that. |
| ShadowofDemise 2005-04-05 ch 1, | abuseOkay, now, I read this, and just had to review! I found it rather humorous but very true. I agree with you on the fact that, writing, like art, is not wrong in any way, because it is up to the opinion of the reader to find they either like it or don’t, and most importantly it's up to the opinion of the writer, because, after all, it was written to be what the author makes it out to be. Art is what one makes of it, and to consider writing as art, the same goes for it. It cannot be defined by discipline or solely on structural and grammar corrections, not that these aren't very important and useful aspects of writing, but, after all, that’s what editors are for. Then again, this is only my opinion, and I think every opinion is both right and wrong. You did a good job on this piece. It would be good if you could get it into a column. I enjoyed reading your thoughts on this matter.Oh, and BTW, here in Canada, we spell color with a U. "Creepy" EH! |
