Aw, this is beasutiful, the imagery is really lovely, the sunlight and the books and everything, i could really picture that, and how you describe the books, their artwork and their authors as the speaker's friends, as if they were alive, how they give her comfort etc., this is beautifully depicted. I used to feel like that, though books cannot really comfort me any more, not even my "old friends" among them. Well written.
