Satisfying little end, certainly. I'm not entirely sure why I clicked on this story, but I did like it quite a bit, and that last line was priceless! It almost seems as if you could write an entire novel with this character.
You do seem to get a bit mixed up with tenses and punctuation, though. When she's killing the king, especially, you go from past to present tense, and the dialogue throughout is strangely punctuated and sounds choppy. I'd say the lines out loud and then write it the way that it sounds best, if you choose to revise it.

This was a good story. It was... chilling, if you get my drift. I can't say I blame her. Who came up with that rule, any way?
