And not in a pitying way, but more that society has to do this kinda' crap to people; it's become a monster hasn't it? Well anyway, I love this poem. It's wonderfully written, a perfect way to convey the emotion you're looking for. I was pleasantly surprised when you refered to committing the act for society because that's really the way it is, sadly. I love that phrase "look upon me". I've used it before, but it still just makes me smile a little when I see it in an FP poem. Anyhow, keep it up ;P
