One word: WOW. I could not tear my eyes from this story and it is now 3:40 in the morning. I am quite tired now actually, but I wanted you to know I enjoyed reading this immensely. I actually cried at the end of the story, I felt Anubis' loss and pain.

Even though I know barely anything about the Egyptian gods, I feel like I've been let in on the 'real life' story of Anubis. You really have a talent for writing, and I don't feel I have any questions left over after reading this. It's like I have been let into the secret life of the gods. This was great, and I thank you for posting this wonderful short story!

Oh my goodness, this was soo good! I really like your legend of anubis and of his sorrow. Where did you find your information on ancient egypt? the myths and legends? If you don't mind telling me that is. I'm currently working on an egyptian legend about an egyptian princess/pharoah and would like to make the story more accurate in regards to religion. I really admire your writing style and your attention to detail.

This is an incredable story. It gives an insight into how the egyptians felt their gods lived, which I for one knew nothing about. I love how you have put forward their tragic love. It is beautiful and makes one think.

I always enjoy reading stories dealing with Anubis, and I have to say that this is one of the best I've ever read. It's very well written.
