| Violet M. Aster 2006-04-08 ch 1, | abuseWow. that was amazing. I was entranced by every word! Do you mind if I print this out (with your name, and everything) to share with a friend of mine? |
| Joe the Gringo 2006-04-03 ch 1, anon. | abuseOverall, this is probably the best written ghost story I've found online. The one point that I can see that might have been done differently --not better, mind you, but differently-- would have been to have included some kind of resolution after the last paragraph, but all the same I can see leaving that last image as one of suspense and horror. If as I suspect, you are actually Chuck Palahniuk--you knocked it outta the park again. If you're not Chuck Palahniuk, you're as good as he is, if only for this one story. |

| G. H. Pedersen 2005-04-14 ch 1, | abuse"A candles-worth of daylight could be seen far, far at the other end." that is just a great line. Could use a bit of polishing at the edge, to take the story just over to a great grate level. No saying that I don't like it already cause I do, just think you can do it better. Like the whole idea about someone having to live in the house of legend. Keep up the good work =) |
