smile for the sunshine 2007-03-15 ch 1,	abuseWow; this is really sad. My mother is an alcoholic and cursed at me a lot when i was younger. So i got the verbal abuse but it wasn't until christmas eve when she hit my brother or i. I'm so sorry that you have to go through that. Luckily I switched custodial parents but now were just scarred on visitations...which the judge just granted. Ya gotta love her. Nonetheless, I really like your poem. I am so sorry for the tradgedy that you've been put through. If you ever need to talk to someone about it, you can message me from my site. My best advice is to never stop writing--its the one place you can be yourself and not have to worry about the past you hide.
