Very elaborate! I love it already! The inventor, Simon, has me envisioning Michael J. Fox; is that the kind of guy you were going for?...Can't wait to find out how Connor looks, and how exactly his role as a detective and robber doesn't sound contradictory. Keep up the good work and I hope to read more of this story as well! ^_^

and even after that, your books would become popular, and they would turn to movies, which would make the books even more popular.
if you were to publish these, i would buy them.
but for now, I'll just print out "Coincidences" and count it as a book.

I don't know if I'd read a story called 'Inspector Gadget', so I'm happy that you didn't. And I think you should work on this one, and 'Fate'. . . . But that may just be me. I love it! And can't wait, 'cus it's like . . . a movie, but not. . . . Uh, I need a more extensive vocabulary. Sorry.

I'll be blunt here.

'Field Work' is promising. And it's interesting as well. The one thing I most despise about stories (and writers) though is when they are left unfinished. Especially ones that are as fun and engaging as 'Field Work'.

So please pick this story back up as soon as possible. Believe me, the longer a story's dragged out, the more difficult it gets to rid yourself from that wretched writers block...assuming, of course, that's the reason why 'Field Work' has been stalled.
