That was amazing. Truly amazing. The writing is blunt and beautiful. It's been a while since I've read something so good. Inspiring, brilliant, wonderful. You have quite a gift.

"You spoke in sighs and vaguely lilting sleeping tones, sometimes smoke roughened."

"You laughed like dripping oil, light and broken and coloured in dirty swirls."

"I'd say it was your life, but I'm not fond of the blood-heavy taste of irony in my mouth."

... My favorite lines, particularly the last one - it's such an amazing way to forshadow, the reader doesn't even realize what's been done until he gets to the end.
This piece is incredible. The dialogue is a bit shaky (and the bit where your narrator "answers" the junkie; forgive me, I'm not sure whether that was supposed to be spoken aloud), but your descriptions made up for it: very blunt, but very eloquent. Excellent indeed.

Isnt "Blue Looks So Good On You" a line from a Fall Out Boy song...I believe its Nobody Puts the Baby in the Corner...i could be wrong I always get song titles wrong.

Scary-Creepy-Cool. It seriously sounds like this one guy i used to know... It works, it flows, it's just - beyond words. Sometimes i wish i could get it down like you can. it just says so much, while saying so little... the perfect story type. Best of luck with this, anD all else.
