I was rather amazed. There's a lot of powerful, lasting imagery in so few words. The disjointed, stuttered delivery gives a sense of dullness and repetition that enhances the feeling. It invoked a little of "The Wall" for me, as it shares the same bland surreality.

great poem! even though its short, i got a perfect image of the setting in my head just from reading your repitition. iron town sounds like a very cool setting for a fantasy story.
