You're right, the comical side to the council really is amusing. I love how the whole story isn't just one onhoing depressing saga, and even the 'bad' characters have 'good' characteristics ... I mean, come on, how cool is THAT? :D

Ah .. well, tomorrow is my first 'official' day of classes. I'm going to a school that's sorta far away, for my summer school courses, so ... I won't know anybody. D: So wish me luck, and I'll finish this off tomorrow! (:

There's so much more that I really did mean to say, but for now, dragons make me happy. (: I'm glad that there's magic and stuff in this -- of course, whatever you chose to include would have made sense and all, but there's just something so special about alternate universes that involve magic. It just makes the whole situation seem less ... dark, I guess. As in, there's more to this place than a social structure.

I couldn't NOT review this chapter. XD So ... Jack[**] is really a freaky slave recruiter with pretty eyes to hypnotise silly little girls who hate their lives. o_o; Wow. He would have totally fooled me! xDD ... So, let's see. Maybe he's made a deal with .. with .. someone important, and recruits new slaves in exchange for his freedom. Or maybe he's just an evil poopie-head, and we'll leave it at that.

Wow. Now it's all over. Kind'a sad that Taff didn't make it, I was hoping he'd show up. Maybe they'd scroll back time or something using the portal, I dunno, un-destroy Ebbaria. But no.

Anyway, it was weird that Shobai called the king dad _and_ Antaris in his speech in... one of the last chapters. I mean, pick one. I assume he said Antaris to distance himself from family, but he earlier in his monologue, or whatever, said 'dad'. It just bothered me, you can pick whichever you choose, but... pick one.

And as for the final hospital scene... You could clarify a little earlier what's going on. I got it almost instantly, but I'm not sure all would.

But other than that... I enjoyed these last chapters. Too bad it's over, but if you're working on something new... I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, btw, I was thinking... what if someone spoke one of the spells in reverse... the reverse/mirror one at least should have worked that way, right? Well, if it's any good, feel free to consider it in your new fic, if it involves any magic.
