Exactly how I feel. This is especially comforting to read with school starting soon (tomorrow, for me - gah!!) It's an important thing to remember. In the real world, nobody is going to care if we were "popular" in high school. To me, it's not worth it. It's much more comfortable to be myself. Takes away the pressure! Besides, we can't please everyone, no matter how hard we try. Anyway, pardon my tangent there. I'm a bit passionate on this subject. Anyway, excellent piece - very well-written and organized.
