Really beautiful descriptions and word choices. I especially like the first stanza. The whole ocean comparison was nice too.

Not really liking the second stanza, it's not my type of humor, but I do like the rest of it. Especially the first stanza that was really funny.

Somebody's a bit patriotic.
Its refreshing to read that somebody really believes in the goodness of their country still, but at the same time, take care not to cross the line from patriotism regarding one's own country to over critical visions of other places.
That said, you seem fairly good at keeping the balance.
