If I hadn't readthe titleand the summary, I would interprated your poem with totally different emotion and meaning. To me it was not so much people parting, being left and leaving, but rather someone being desperatly sad, then finding him/herself embraced, to find that what he/she thought was so sad, in fact really isn't,because thereis someone to hold you.Or maybe the person is fatally ill, perhaps cancer, and knows he/she is going to die and that there is nothing to do about it. Or maybe someonealready died?lazy
