This story certainly seems interesting. In the beginning, I thought the main character (Alex) was going to be just another nonchalant, half-emotionless would-be hero, but he turned out to be much more humane and likable. The sudden twist of his life into more dark and angsty one was intriguingly written even if some of the Alex's thoughts and flashes of his personal philosophy seemed a bit... hm, how should I say this, out of place. On the other hand, I might have not been on the right mood to read this; I guess I'll have to read some time again...The chapter ended into a very good cliffhanger, and I'd definitely like to read more. If you still have the inspiration, please continue this story. I'm sure it would turn out wonderful!
