I'm seeing some form of metaphor in it, and a little moral/something lesson in it, that about people being left so alone that they get nuts and how it may not be all too healthy for them nor others. Your very... direct form of writing the patient's thoughts was bugging me at times, all the, like, fruitcase terminology and somewhat looney use of language and blah blah blah... But in the context of the story, I can't see any better way to write it. The end was a bit... Odd. But overall, this was... good, if I can say that without having to run from ppl in long white coats andescape from nice soft rooms and stuff. Good story. Creepy, but good.
