Lovely. 'to take a ride and just feel my life/ rising up and away into purple skies' are the best.-::laughs:: I'm ashamed to admit that the only reason I picked this poem to read was because my name is Emily. But having read it...it's brilliant! Awesome awesome job.
lackluster 7/1/05 . chapter 1
"black city and multicolored lights " that painted such a beautiful picture! nice poem!
SilverSpinner 6/6/05 . chapter 1
Oh, wow. Very lovely. I adore these lines: "black city and multicolored lights scattered over lives / which are screaming to be saved and whispering for redemption." So beautiful.
Weeba 6/4/05 . chapter 1
Oh. Oh. Simply beautiful story told in such simplistic terms. I love it. Shreds of odd memories mixed in with wonderful reminiscenses, and all of it worded so that your chest aches to be able to write that way. Wonderful.
Made in U.S.A 5/31/05 . chapter 1

Wrong Name Tag 5/19/05 . chapter 1
It is a little all over the place and confusing... but I don't mind. It's pretty and sounds nice, almost just flows, and with some fantastic images and lines. I really like your style. The one thing I liked, because it seemed original, was the line, "black city and multicolored lights scattered over lives". Nice touch, great job.

HHHHHHH 5/12/05 . chapter 1
Such a cruel, magnificent view of the city! Sprinklers at night time, in the past? Was that the situation? This is a fantastic little work.
