This poem was so...wonderful. Filled with such sadness and grief. The way you described it all was beautiful and sad at the same time. This is going on my favs :).

There were, are and will always be horribly cruel people, who have no mercy...no sympathy for those different than them.

Very well written and obviously meditated on. I think your muse was speaking to you here! I like how the rhythym captures the terrible sadness that springs from the Trail of Tears. Long live president Jackson eh? I've always found his view of "right" interesting. Keep writing!

Very beautiful...very sad. But you know something? All races come together as one someday. I am part Indian and I am white and I feel the sadness of both when I look back in history...

this was so impressive. the genocide the Native Americans went through was unbelievable. my ancestors were Blackfoot, so I can relate somewhat. you attack the worst in human nature. this genocide can never be forgotten.
