Too many lines for a haiku, but it is a very pretty poem!

I like it a lot as a poem, but doesn't look like a haiku, nor a tanka for that matter. Haikus have 5-7-5 syllables. Just keep that in mind for the future BUt your poem was lovely, a little emotional journey for the wanderer...
