Why is it that attractive wives in vampire stories always seem to act like soap opera stereotypes?

Okay, it's a vampire story, but I did find the scene with the devices very funny. Something that might be interesting might be steampunk added to this story. You might want to look into the book "Anno Dracula" for an interesting Victorian vampire read. Also, I think I got the inspiration for Nyxhem's name- Nyx=Night, hem=from?, though not sure.

Damn, that's clever. Using the book Dracula, I mean. many people reference to it, but you used the book itself as a jump start in Striker's mind to discover the truth! I wish I had thought of it! Then again, I have my clever tricks too.

i'm currently reading dracula.. it's great.. though this unabridged version is a bit stretched out.. and i'm not sure if bram stoker is english/british.. is he? he studied in dublin.. isn't dublin in ireland? maybe he moved? anywayz.. so nyxhelm is already a vampire by this time? nice intro..
