This was hilarious! My sister and I are only five years apart, but she's still just so aggravating...she's such a sweetie, but really, quite a devil in disguise. You did a great job of showing that rivalry here. :)

This was great; had me laughing. I know what younger siblings can be like, and I also have a 6-year-old sister. It's almost as if their sole purpose in life is ruining yours, isn't it?

Excellent story! Very funny, very truthful. The Silent Game. I know that all to well...the counsellors at this camp used to make us play it...for hours at a time...while they ate chips and talked...WHAT A CRAPPY CAMP! Argh.

I like that this was written from the older kid's viewpoint. It's older kids who are actually the underdogs, being expected to endure perpetual motion hair shirts like these.

Those vows to be "A Better Bigger More Adult than an Adult" sibling always seem to be taken right at the very second those younger ones take THEIR vows to be even bigger brats.

Teenage siblings help their younger siblings "to grow in the world" by showing them what happens when they push their luck too far!!

yeah, I can so relate. But I got two brothers and (since I'm a guy), I'll use physical force (such as a slap in the face) when they ** me off or annoy me. I hate family vacations. I love your stories. Good job!
