Reviews For: Stem of the Cure
Sister 2006-03-09 . chapter 1
claim what you want but leave God out of it. You don't know what he thinks about stem cell research/abortion, and neither do I.(All this doesn't apply if you are not talking about the Christian God)

Nice Poem though, beautifally written!Doesn't mean i agree but you have talent!

THANK YOU!! AT LEAST SOMEONE ELSE THINKS BUSH IS AN IDIOT FOR BEING AGAINST STEM CELL RESEARCH!! steam cell research could cure so many things, maybe even my disability-cerebral palsy. anyone who is against it is stupid.
why can't I just be tall 2005-10-19 . chapter 1
hi. i am to way about the stem cell debate. on the one hand i know first that all around the world there are people who would benefit from the cures that the use of stem cells and that i could save there lifes. i really know just how hard it is when someone that you love's life is tanted with pain and who lives with the constant fear of death as my mum has Lupus which is an autimmune disease and a little brother with epilepsies neather of these have a cure and both are potentially fatal. but at the same time i can not condone stem cell research. it is killing something so helpless that i can't even breath on it's own, it is killing our own young how much more barbaric can you get? in any medical situation the rule is when choosing between too people choose the youngest of the two, so imagion if you picked an 80 year old man who had lived his life over a 2 day old baby boy. i can't, just can't support stem cell research but anyway, hay i hate bush so i can safely say that there is somthing that i can make my mind up about. thanks for you time if you bothered and sorry to wast it

I say shove the religion aside and open your eyes to the oppourtunity that's in front of us. They seperated beliefs and reasoning for a reason. Bush just doesn't get it. It'd be a medical breakthrough. But we've got 4 more years of this guy.

An excellent, well-framed opinion. But of course, you knew I would agree with it...
Plato's Socialist Democracy 2005-05-26 . chapter 1
why hello there i would first like to say that i dislike President Bush and disagree on almost everything he stands for. That being said i agree with him on pro life issues.

I am in fact so far left that I am actually for life. Actually I am against the artificial fertilizing of eggs because i would prefer it if many fertilized eggs (as i like to call them little babies that will never get to be born even though they are still alive and it is not a good idea to kill them). Those fertilized eggs become medical waste and those babies are as some people like to say "terminated".

Your poem is put forth very well and argues a certain point that i am sorry but i cannot respect.

As a devout roman catholic i can not sit back and watch human life be destroyed.

You know what stem cell research leads to dont you. The making of human life to be destroyed and extend someone elses life .ie. cloning for organs

My father is a kidney transplantationist and I know from him that eyelit transplants from willing donors work extremely well in the treating of diabetes. Umbilical cells are also a good alternative.

I do not want society to slip into such a Nietzcheist philosophy as where we destroy the weak and helpless to help ourselves.

I disagree with President Bush on many things. But if i were president i would try and stop this with my life, and for the life of all those that he as President, has sworn to serve

Thank you for your time reading this

Strong lines... I think you chose the right words to place in this poem. This isn't exactly something I thought would be worth the time when I read the summary, but you pulled it off quite well and I have to say that I actually like this poem.
Lisa Parry 2005-05-26 . chapter 1
Political, but the argument was put well forward. It was effective to show what happened beyond the leader's ignorance and was very much a poem in support of life.
