| Pheobe Meryll 2006-01-24 ch 1, | I loved, absolutely loved, how you ended this hoping that he would find out real love too. There have been poems similar to this that I read, that are bitter without the redeeming quality of your ending. It proves that you really *did* find out what real love is...unconditional, and for enemies as well as friends. Beautiful work. |
| Needa S 2006-01-24 ch 1, | Very nice, excellent write. |
| Mikki Amboree 2005-12-27 ch 1, | Again, another very bittersweet one. Write on! |

| HauntedMisery 2005-06-26 ch 1, | This rocks, awesome work! |
| Eirien 2005-06-07 ch 1, | This is truly beautiful and touching, I like it very much. I like the way a better love, perhaps God's love, or that of another person who truly loves, is counterpoised against the negative love the speaker had to experience. Like in "How many more", there is this note of forgiveness at the end which I really like, an ability to forgive that proves that the speaker has meanwhile been touched by real love. The format is good as well, with the alternation between short and long lines in the first and last stanzas that seem to frame the poem. The poem reminds me of my poem "Love" which has roughly the same message. |
