Well said. I can feel what you mean when you say, "If I let you be me/Who will I be?" although my experience has been "If I have to be you/Who will I be?" We can understand each other from the opposite sides of the same coin.

I can definitely relate. It captures the uncertainty and apprehension involved with a new relationship.
