a very empathetic tone here. i can tell you really care for your friend and want nothing but God's best for him. so caring and considerate as you are, you internalize the faults and feel guilty over this, which is something i can relate to. yet, you would probably want to be careful not to let it rule your life and just as God to give you strength, courage, and faith. i don't mean to sound moralistic or anything. at any rate, thanks for sharing and keep writing!
