im a little put off by evelyn at the moment...she was becoming a bit too bitchy for me...she snaps at adam a little too much...i just hope her characterization would explain as to why she acts a little too high and mighty...

the description was so well done that the image fills my mind...the narration's clear as well which i appreciate very much, it was a breath of fresh air from the past five stories i tried to read thru...

Really good story and characters. I like that it kept my attention without there being to much drama it made it more realistic. If you ever decieded to write a sequel or some sort of spin-off I would wanna read it.

for some reason, i thought initially that Eve was a working girl. i don't know why really. also, i don't think you should address Adam as a "boy," it gives me this feeling that Eve is older than him. m...

You know, I really liked this. I wasn't sure what to think at first, but I really did. The chapters seemed to go by fast, but I also kind of liked how you took the romance very slowly. Romance is good and all, but small investment, small reward, right?

Yeah. I liked this. It's kind of late at night and I'm not really sure how to better articulate myself haha. I liked Adam--the fact that he is a genuinely nice guy, even if he starts out with questionable habits. Eve is a very strong and seemingly calm character, and yet she has her own moments of weakness and--even though in some ways we're nothing alike, in others I sympathize with her completely. Ben was lovable, as were JD, Jordan, Dyson...

And I really like Adam and Eve (hahaha, I do get a kick out of that) together. They just seem to click very well. Had to surmount a number of difficulties, to be sure, but--it feels right.

While I can see the potential for this story--and I will continue reading, because I have a feeling it will be good--I just don't like your main character, Eve, at all. I know you already stated that she was a cynic/realist, but she comes off as extremely snarky and irritating. (When she talks of throttling others, I kind of want to do the same to her. :P) I don't like the fact that she snaps at any little thing Adam says, especially when he's clearly joking. Anyway, it's just a little criticism... I'm really not trying to be harsh. Hopefully, I'll warm up to her by the end.

This was a good story, and very well-written.

Omgsh. I feel so late for not knowing who Steve Irwin was! He's the crocodile hunter, right? Oh yes, he died. It was so long ago though, was this chapter written then or something?

Anyway, I really like this. Eve and Adam, hm. They don't seem to match too much at this point. And I really like that. I hate it when authors jump into it and we can already see the sparks flying. You managed to hint at it quite subtly. It was good.

I do not like Adam. At all. Whatever reason he has isn't really acceptable. Most authors make the bad boy likeable which he shouldn't be. And you didn't do that which I commend you for as well.

What I'm trying to say is, you're very realistic. I like that. It's a cliched storyline, bad boy and good girl. But I like their personalities and uniqueness (word?). It makes it all interesting. Adam and Eve, eh?

And you know what I loved especially? That she didn't mind that he called her Eve. That was cute. =)
