It's ok, I think this is a very interesting tale you've started. You should go back though and fill in where you missed some words; and there was a spot where you put 'was' and I think it should have been 'were'. I'm off to chapter 2.

I'm no expert, but I think fairy tales are generally about a moral. "The moral of the story is..." what? I'm not sure here. I think, though, that you have the right idea of a fairy tale writing style.

I read the story out to the real critics, my sons and niece, they both loved it! My son is 6 and the other is 2, and my niece is 3. I would say my niece enjoyed it the most. She loves her fairy tales!
