I know exactly what you mean. I feel the same way towards my dad right now. It's hard to put that kind of thing into words, but your poem makes sense.It's a good thing we have a much better Father in heaven. :)

This one showed an array of emotions in my opinion. Hope and despair. Sad to think you could describe something as painful as a lost of love like that.

Despite what my gut tells me, I'd have to say I enjoyed it. Just the emotion you pour into your work, it helps give a better understanding to what you may go through.

brilliant! simply brilliant!! i love how you used the same first line and the same lat one for each stanza. it gave it a kind of repetitous feeling like the pain just kept happening over and over. almost like no matter what you just kept expierincing the pain and the hurt. its sad that people give us that reacuring pain and either don't care or don't realize. great write though! *thanks for the review! also, in the review you told me about your suicidal friend and i'm very sorry. i will be praying for her and for you. hope everything turns out well for you.
