Honestly, I've witnessed a lot of these average angel of death things. Some are just amazingly funny. This one has a different take but somehow Death has to really stand out. If you were to edit it down to about 10 minutes and write in play form it would be a great forensic play. Again all I can say is to keep exploring Evan/death. He needs to be a stronger personality. I found myself extremely bored towards the end and wanted to kill him again.

Cameron Crowe may have had you at "hello" in Jerry McGuire, Avonlea had me with the first line, "I am the Angle of Death."

Such a twisted idea, that of being the angel of death, an idea explored by the likes of Neil Gaiman to Ingmar Bergman... only this time It's not a hot chick nor someone playing chess. Instead we have an average guy who died in an average way, taking a not-so-average job that tells the tale of the end of this mortal coil.

The film noir juxtaposition of an angel of death, seeming like a wisecracking James Cagney at times, matching wits with pair of Heavenly angels who lead our ... hero(?) to his next encounter. Showing that none of us ever die a heroic death, its always undignified and ordinary.

Lots of fun, i hope this continues in a series...

This story is incredibly weird so far. In a good way! I enjoyed the entire thing and the fact you have a witty Angel of Death narrating it probably puts it into perspective that he's not some evil guy that most people probably imagine. Yes, very nice piece so far. I look forward to more!~Oni

This story is written really well, with a good flow and a nice measure of humour. The characters are interesting and seem real. You have me hooked and I can't wait til the next chapter.
